Guide To State And National Park Campgrounds - Tennessee

TENNESSEE STATE AND NATIONAL PARK CAMPGROUNDS

Lebanon, TN

Address:  328 Cedar Forest Rd., Lebanon, TN 37090
Our rating:  *****

+ Conveniently located 12 minutes from I-40 and 35 minutes from downtown Nashville.

+ Campsites are huge and each has a table, firepit and BBQ grill.

+ Bathrooms are clean with the toilets in the front and shower room in the back.

+ The campground has a camp store and laundry.  The park has many amenities which include a couple of playgrounds, hiking trails, a pool and snack bar.

Additional Comments:  The park had wifi and provided campers with 200 minutes free.  It was plenty for us.  There was also good TV reception here.

Memphis, TN

Address:1500 W Mitchell Rd, Memphis, TN 38109
Our rating: *****

+ Conveniently located only 15 minutes from downtown Memphis.

+Campsites were medium sized with table, firepit, standup grill and bag holder.

+Bathrooms were clean with shower stalls that had a wall separating the bench and shower areas. Water pressure and temperature were good. (The guys told us they would have to give their bathroom a lower rating than the girls due to the fact that one of the urinals were broken and the paper goods were never restocked.)

+Campground amenities included a multi-purpose laundry room that also included a sink to wash dishes and an ice machine.

Additional Comments: Park has 8 miles of trails to hike, swimming pool and campstore. Adjacent to the park is Chuccalissa Indian Village that is worth a visit.
